Don't know how its spelled, but whats up with everyone wanting to buy old cat conv? They have gold in them or something? I must be missing something on this.

it pretty much seems like gold huh?? they are filled w/ a type of metal that is worth good $ and reusable to exhaust mfgr's and the scrap guys eat the cats up and cash them in... to who im not sure.. used to know what that material was called but cant remember

Platinum is what they do have in them. Not sure how much or how new of a car. Yards do give upwards of $40-$50 depending on size. All the cars my buddy junks, he cuts the cats off before anything.

contact brian (pewter) from JJ's he has the number for a guy who buys them in the greensburg area. i met him at the fort allen shop n save and sold him a bunch. I was very pleased with what i got.

Its funny, I posted a 99-04 for cheap. Last year I was GIVING a 87-93 4 cat away for free, no takers (keeping that one now). Also have 2 universials and a high flow 2 catted h for a fox.

well sad thing is i found another one today to look into, plus 2 last night local. the one today is in pittsburg...ive asked 87notch if he can look into it...if i dont hear anything from him ill call tomrorrow when im home....its a red GT...
