Ok, so it's a car.. but it's still dirt :thumbsup:

My older brother races dirt track, late models. Last night was my first night going to watch... got a few pics before we left.

He started on the pole in the feature and finished 4th. It was opening night at this track, so he will need to adjust his setup and get it right for this track. He'll do better.. he always does ;)

nice car, late model is a hard class to run!! I am glad to see a ford mill going up against a gm field..

He's been running late models for a while now. Ran limited lates before that for many years. He's an awesome driver :thumbsup:

Damn, I forgot how fast those cars really rip around. Does he ever race out at Lernerville Speedway? Used to go there years ago, saw the World Of Outlaws there before.

I dont think he races at Lernerville. He races at Dog Hollow on Friday nights, and Marion Center on Saturday nights.

Man do I miss the days at Marion Center. Back when we ran dirt cars we ran PMS (Imperial) on Saturday nights. When we would get rained out or there was something special we couldnt run, we would occasionally venture to Marion Center. First night we were there, started last in the heat, finished second..... Got t-boned going into the pits, locals sent us a message. We ran qualified for the feature, another buddy didnt (locals got him on the track) and had to run the B main. He didnt make the feature from the B main and got $60.00 payout. We got taken out in the feature and got $25.00. Strange place back in the day ;)

There are still some of those kinds of drivers around, but the late models run pretty smoothly. It is amazing how fast they get on the straight stretch and then up on 2 wheels around the turns. So much fun!

Sweet I'm glad to see more super late stuff on here i cannot wait to get out there for the first night this year but there is definately nothing like racing super lates that is for sure

His is just a Late Model. He doesnt do circuit racing. Just local tracks he chooses to go to.
