got the same one as pictured, an 03. absolutely love it. only one i found to really fit me, im 6,3. beat the snot outa it every time i ride and the only problem ive ever had was i snapped the chain and cracked the outer case, no biggie though. def cant go wrong in my oppinion

The newer Polaris' are better than the older ones for sure. I would say that model would be good for you.

We had an 88 trail boss 250 for probably 8 or 9 years and about the only thing I could think of ever happening was busting a ball joint on some rough trail.
