86 gt engine Question

I went out to my car today and when i started it i hear a terribly loud rattle in the engine as soon as it idles up. The car had been making some noise only in 1st gear and the noise would increase as RPMs rose and would go away when i shifted into 2nd so i thought it was a gear syncro. What could this new noise be? It sounds completely terrible and i don't dare drive it. Maybe something with the heads? HELP!!!

Also, what shop would you guys recommend i get it towed to? Something in the greensburg area please.

you should try to get a video of this noise so we can try and help you better. also, where do you think its comming from in the engine?

I'll grab a video of it tomorrow if i can. It's in the parking lot where i work so i can't really piss with it there. Does anyone in the area have a trailer i could use to get it the 6 miles to my house...I'll buy you a case of beer :thumbsup:

figured it out! lol it was dark and i was dead tired after work so forgive me for my retardedness. it turned out that the serpentine belt. I cut off the pieces that were making the noise and I'm replacing it tomorrow.
