Took the LS1 saturday to Beaver

So i've got a bone stock auto trans am...99 ls1 car..First pass i threw a service engine light and it ran like crap all day lol...Best pass was 14.8 @ 94 and the worst was a whopping 16.0 @ 86..... lol anyways i scanned it and it came up as the front 2 o2 sensors so hopefully thats all it is

wow... even with front O2's gone, i didn't think it would run that bad.... not a low 13 sec. car stock.... b/c once you go WOT, it will go closed loop, which doesn't care what the o2's are reading, it will go off of a specific fueling/timing table....

however, with the o2 code, it may be running on some sort of different table

X2 I don't think 02 sensors would do that because it shouldn't use them at WOT.

Yeah something is way off. That car should trap over 100 mph stock and be around the mid 13's. Hope you get that thing sorted out

Yea i find it hard to believe myself that its the o2 sensors causing it..I was possibly thinking maybe the cats are a shot? I swear sometimes i can smell the rotten smell but its so random i think its other cars..Maybe its mine...Its just real dead.. Takes forever to get going

Yeah you might want to check them. My buddies 99 LS1 stock runs 13.40's at 102mph.

well if the cats are clogged, the rear o2's should be throwing a code telling you that....

has it felt like that since you bought it, or just recently?
