I'm getting ready to do a C4 swap from a T5 on my 92. I got most of the hard parts for the transmission today. The transmission is going to the rebuilder tomorrow. I'll post up pictures and any problems I run into doing the swap. I am looking forward to racing it. With the stick it went a best of a 12.94. This year it has been 13.1 to 13.4. I'll be happy if it stays a 13.4 or better since the engine is still a N/A stock long block. No more missed shifts for me.:woot1:

Good luck, I love my bro's C4 set-up, awesome with the manual VB!
What shifter are you running? I think he has a Cheeta on it and it is nice.

LMK, if you need any advice on anything... I have done a few of those swaps..
My car picked up 4 tenths with a t-5 to c-4 swap, it was also n/a. Good Luck.

I am using a Quarter stick with the holcomb adapter so I can keep the console. I did really consider the Cheetah though. I never heard anything bad said about that shifter.

Thanks for the offer. I have a few questions.

If I pick up 4 tenths I won't even know how to act, but it will make me happy.:)

Here is a few shifter plate/shifter installation pictures. The first is the modification you have to do to the floor for the Holcomb adapter. The second is the plate sitting in the hole. The third is the shifter detent lever with the shifter in park. I have a radio delete and you could put a dime between the delete plate and the lever. It is fine for me, but if you have a radio you will need to do something. The lever will be in the way. I have heard of people moving the radio down to solve the problem. The fourth is the shifter in park. The fifth is the shifter in low.

Well I got my C4 swap done, was roadtesting it, the front pump started making noise and it started puking F-ing transmission fluid out everywhere. WHAT THE F*CK! Can I ever get a f*cking break. I took 2 days off work to get this done for this Saturday and now I am screwed. Damn it. :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: :censored::censored::censored::madashell:

I got my car back already. I have to thank Mark Brewer for going above and beyond to get the car back to me. I did not have time to R&R the trans so I towed it to him. He pulled it, sent it out to get repaired (The input shaft seemed to be the main culprit), and had the car back to me in less than 2 days. Now I get to race on Saturday. :jump:
