HP sounds about right for the mods but the tq seems a bit low. I think mine made 279 with the stock cams.

I put down 274hp 290tq at the last tuning day with bolt ons and a low compression build.

Yeah the auto def eats up some power. I think mine might have been a freak anyway.

x2! If mine wasn't a DD i'd throw a shift kit in it..but..eh..I don't like the thought of shifting it everyday all the time..

Yeah after 36 hours I can give you a break. Look into the PA street/strip valvebody for the best of both worlds.

wouldnt it be faster to leave it auto w a shift kit instead of trying to manually shift it? wouldnt their be a delay in shifts? im just curiuos thats all

It would be more consistent with the computer controlling the shifting but I bet you are right, a little faster with the manual vb. Never tested that theory so don't quote me on it...

My car ran the same with me shifting it or letting the computer shift it. But thats just one example.
