I went and bought myself a 05 CRF450R, as I've always liked the power delivery of 4strokes vs the 2 strokes. Sold my cr125 to a good friend of mine. It is definitely taking some getting used to, especially from a 125. The power is pretty amazing, and addictive.
First pic is of my old 125.
I've ordered all new plastics, and graphics kit for it. Bike is solid though, full rebuild with 6 hours on it, alot of good parts on it, just needs some TLC that I'm giving it, Ill update with progress pics!:thmbsup:

nice buy.. friend of mine has one of those and he loves it. the power is unreal.

I have a CRF450R as well, and i absolutely love it.... I still love the power of a 2-stroke and occasionally I wish i still had my RM265 or my KTM300, but not as a replacement to my CRF.. just as something different to switch it up a bit... I definitely love the 4stroke beasts....\

I've been throwing around the idea of getting a newer YZ450F, but only because i've always been a Yamaha guy... but i doubt I will... I love the bike, put new graphics on it this spring, and the suspension is at PR2 Racing right now ... so there's really no point...

Enjoy! You will definitely love it - definitely a BIG setup up from the 125 pinger

thanks everyone, its a good time. the rebuild is goin along nicely so far. Waiting on parts now. new pics as of today.

Damn, that CR-125's pretty sweet..I had an 02, weisco prolite piston, vforce reeds, fmf pipe, shorty, fx graphics..

i gotta get me another bike!!!

what you pay for the white monster kit on that? i would love a white kit for my kx450f

White plastics were in the area of $115 or so... and then the black monster engergy kit was like $100... the graphics are made by FLU designs...

I just looked at their site and it doesn't look like they have an all black Monster kit for a Kawasaki (unless i missed it).... I'd do some searching on ebay - there will be a ton of stuff come up...

I didn't go get it yet! Still waiting on the title. The bank said it could take 3 weeks to come! We all figure it will be here this week, then probably head out on friday to Philadelphia to pick up the car/transfer the title/registration etc. Its killing me to say the least to wait this long. Especially since I already paid for it.:rolleyes:

i just got my 450 rebuilt about 2 weeks ago, and she's running top notch... we'll have to get out sometime soon!

yea, i couldnt take it sitting around in pieces anymore.... new crank, new top end (12.5:1 piston), new everything basically... got it broke in and had about a 4 hour ride two weekends ago... it ran great...

REALLLLLLY wanted to go riding today, but didn't get out... maybe tomorrow

no actually i had a buddy that wanted to ride out by my rent's place, but i didnt' want to drive all that way today..... i kinda wanted to, but i wanted to catch up on sleep... i never went to bed thursday night, as i promised my fiance that i'd do some shopping for her, since she has bronchitis.... i didn't get to bed til about 9a.m. friday morning... then got back up for the Pens game in the afternoon....

I'd liek to go tomorrow, but again, id ont' feel like getting up and driving 1.5 hours tomorrow....

haha, yea i hear ya.. I had to get the dbike up and running since the buell is now officially done for the season
