dont know how i fvcking missed it...but there is no dip stick tube or stick in the new GT....anyone got one?


need it asap...i wont drive it again until i get one.

You telling us you bought a car and did not check the oil??? WOW!! You could probally get one from a salvage yard. I have a Lincoln with a 302 in it. If it fits we could work something out. Giving the motor to another member here but I am sure we could get you a dip stick.

it was in there when he picked it up, i know they are notorious for coming loose and vibrating out.. that happened on a stang i had like 3 yrs ago.. i just picked one up at local yard.

what bout rodeheaver's? he may have one

Damn. I thought they were bolted to the header flange.

well if when aftermarket headers are installed sometimes it's hard to get it back on the bolt.. :goodidea:

ALWAYS check the oil in a car your buying......

HAHAHA that would explain why mine was flapping around. Silvernotch pointed out where it was supposed to bolt to. HAHAHAHA oh well.

I would think if he shipped it out first thing, even UPS ground will get there by Wednesday.
