Mike at Wolfpack Speed is a Vortech dealer, he can set you up with what you need.
I think an S-trim with 10psi would be fine.
The key to making any boosted application live is the tune---don't skimp on that.
What else is done to the car? I'm pretty sure factory compression is 9:1.
Even with 9.5:1 you'll be fine with 93 octane and a good tune at 10psi.

adding to what j said. In order to get a tune you need more fuel. Do you have an intank pump that can support a blower? Other things to think about are injectors, and mass air meter. 2k for a sc setup with a tune seems damn cheap.

the kit was what they were saying for close to 2 grand. now i know i would need a bigger pump injectors and maf. imy idea of going like "cheap" would be if i could get everything for close to under 3500. my car has the basic mods now. heads cam good upper/lower exhaust ignition etc and i have it tuned from wolfpack so i know what a difference a tune can be. does any one have any links to some kits??

I'm in the process right now of doing a S-trim on my Fox. Not sure where boost is going to be till it gets strapped on the dyno. I have 2 different pulley combos to try. 1st will be a 6.78 lower with a 3.47 blower pulley which should be around the 6-7 psi range and the other will be a 6.78/2.95 combo which should be around 13-14 psi. My compression ration on the motor is going to be 9.42:1. Hoping to have it alll together and ready to be tuned sometime in the next month.

Ok, so you get a low boost sc setup like Tim describes and what do you get? 5 psi mabey if you're lucky since you have good flowing heads and I asume exhaust.
Thats not going to make you happy. You will be sending the head unit back and upgrading down the road, it happens all the time. that 3500 bills needs to go towards the kit itself. Mabey buy the kit now and save for the supporting mods after. Watch going with to much boost though, with a good flowing top end it doesn't take much to be around the 500rwhp mark. Jmo
