Dyno?

Does anyone no a good place to take the mustang to make a few pulls on the dyno that is close to belle vernon? I don't need anyone to tune it. I just want to get some hp, tq, and air/fuel numbers. Maybe play with the timing and fuel psi.

Are there any thoughts of a SCS dyno day this year? With the changes to my stuff, I'm likely going to need some tuning this year, and it would take a month of TnT's at 3 passes a day to get 'er done :(

Yeah, for sure. I dont need anyone to do the tuning, just a place to make the pulls ;) I would like to get a few to set the cam timing, and get a few clean 3rd gear pulls to datlogging the baseline for the MAF conversion :D

Anyone know what they get for like 3 pulls without a group deal? I have my own WB too.

If tuning or tweaking is going to be done, it will be best to limit it to a smaller number of cars so that everyone has adequate time in the time period alloted.

It is a good time! I think I've at least made an appearance at all of them so far, even if I'm not using the dyno for anything. Its fun to shoot the shit while everyone stands around, plus you get to take a look at everyones rides.:thmbsup:

Real funny:thmbsup: Maybe I should have been more explicit for some people. I have used a dyno before, but never with a group.

#1. How many pulls do you get?
#2. Normally I make adjustments while the car is still on the dyno. With a group do you let someone else make a pull while I adjust or let the car cool off?
#3. Who decides all these things?
#4. What if you have to many cars and not enough time?
#5. How many cars do you let come? Is there a limit?

I would appreciate it if someone could answer these questions on a level higher than the 3rd grade.

Hey Mike,

#1 When I was part of the last group dyno session I believe it was 3 or 4 pulls.
#2 I made the adjustments while strapped down.
#3 The total time and the number of participants pretty much dictates how many pulls.
#4 When the last group dyno session was organized, the number of participants were already known before the actual day. There may have been a few cancels and some new entries, but the number was pretty close to the number that responded.
#5 I am almost positive Hybrid has a specific time frame and the 3-4 pulls have a certain avg. time it takes (with small changes being permitted). So Lou starts a list of who will attend and then they callaborate.
