Kauffmans has changed names and owners, but Dave is still doinig the tuning so I would still have to reccomend them. He is also now an owner. Here's their new info:

Gooood question. I would like to know as well. Also any specific tuner more "experienced" with say, turbo cars, and also the 94-95 cars?

blkp-Your turbo kit is off the car now right? Any new additions to the car since you are selling it the turbo kit?

Its off the car and gone. guy made 366whp and 430wtq on 10psi with a stock intake to pan 302.

decent numbers in my opinion.

i have a S-trim with a 2.95 pulley sitting in the garage :D

X2, If you look over on the corral, George @ SCS chimed in and said they would make it right even though the work was done by Kauffmans. That is stand up if you ask me.

your best bet is probably to go there, alot of guys here have had success with them

i personally have never had a tune on the dyno, i went the mail order route and then backed it up with a dyno session

good luck

X3! Something tell me that there is MORE to that story that what is coming out. NO ONE in their right mind would do that kind of work starting out a new business.

Im actually in need of a sct dynotune here in the next month or so, and im debating between SCS & Lasota tuning in Akron OH. I had my old setup tuned at Kauffmans years ago by Dave & they did a good job & I was happy.
Now Don LaSota, ive been speaking & emailing back & forth w/ him over the years & he's been great, spent some considerable time helping me w/ different issues & ive never spent a dime w/ him yet. Don is also about & hour and a 1/2 closer for me too. Decision's..........:o

yeah, not much there 4 sure....just like boss330racing.com

don't let there websites fool you, they are some of the best in the business. when your as busy as they are you don't have time or need to d$ck around with websites.

good luck with the tuning!

My $.02.... I had a very good experience with Don LaSota. He was very helpful and quick to respond with my questions and concerns. He is very good at the turbo/ Kenne Bell market. I have yet to hear anything bad about him.It will be conservative for sure. He does play it on the safe side. .
Also, Don will do tunes at BigShot Dyno in Akron at times as well.
