car wont stay running any hits

k first i gota 88gt put it a 97 explorer motor f303 cam and i convert it to mass air the thing will not idle shuts off check everything over for vac leaks stuff like that can u guys give me some answers thanks

I would start by checking ground wires if it is a fresh install.

need more info... will it start up then run for a second then shut off, or will it try to idle for a second then surge to off, does it seem way rich or way lean? First thing i do is get them to idle with the iac motor unplugged, set the tps volts, make sure the egr valve isnt hanging open(be sure you dont have a vaccum line going to it, it is supposed to get its vaccum from the egr solenoid behind the passenger strut tower), make sure you dont have any leaks after the maf...

it will idle for a sec then will surge then it shut right off i check all the grounds vac lines contaction everything i can think of

far i am in altoona i can drive in but it wont idle at red lights and shit
