I havent drivin my 00' GT in a week or so. Today i go to drive it and my drivers side window wont go down. Never had a problem before. Passenger side works just fine. With nothing running it doesnt sound like anything is happening when i press the switch.

Any thoughts?

common problem on these cars. same thing happened to mine. It was stuck down. No noise, no clicking, no nothing. I decided to tear the door panel off and check it out. It wasn't working out real well for me, so in frustration, I smacked the door with my hand in the area of the motor. The window started working and hasn't stopped since. :goodidea:

Common problem just like the damb door locks. What isnt a common problem on these cars? Haha.

Nice. Ill pull the panel off tomorrow and smack the motor a few times.

If that dont work i ll prob order a new motor?

first thing i would do is unplug the window switch, wiggle it around and plug it back in

that or try slamming the door shut a couple times and see if it works.. if so you might got a short or bad switch.. i had the same problem on my 95...

If you're going to try that method, you don't have to take the panel off! I couldn't get mine all the way off. Just smack the inside of the door as far up and low as you can get your hand.

Do this WHILE pushing the button.
