Hey all im new to the forum. Im a owner of a 85 Vert GT, im needing a rear sub frame:duh: the guy i bought the car from covered the bad frame with some tin and small sheet metal screws. So here i am looking for parts and checking out some very nice rides. I will not let my pony die, if it takes me 20 years to find the right part so be it!

Rock, where in Western PA are you at? Might could that your rear can be grafted in with some tubing? I happen to know a guy with a welder, plasma, torch, band saw, and very large 7 bay garage.... maybe your stang can be patched up stronger than new?

I know where there is a blown up beat up fox sitting waiting to go to the crusher. I am sure if you came down, flipped it over and cut the parts off you need, then flipped the kid some lunch money, he would be very happy.

Rock,
Jack that thing up and get me pics of this area that is rusted and needs replaced. We may be able to use some 14 gauge 2x4 and re-create it or something. If I see it and what there is to work with, I'll tell you if it can be done easily for a case of beer! Most repairs centered around steel are pretty easy, it's wood working that I stay clear of!
