Guys, Got a question regarding what you are running.....
I have a 93 Fox with a 408, electric water pump. I was running a 180 thermostat. I was going to switch it up to a hi-flow 160, but I may consider running just a restrictor disc in it instead. I have no need for heat as I do not have the heater core hooked up.
What do you guys think?

you may not need the heat, but your motor does... the engine needs to be at operating temp before you punish it... the lowest i ever run is a 160, i use a 180 in my big block car because of the allum heads, they dont like to flow max air until 210 degrees.. every combo is different, but at least run a 160, remember it will keep the water in the rad longer to cool it off before it runs into the engine..

I went to AN lines, no t-stat also with an electric pump, the -16 kinda acts as a restricter.
I pull in the box at 150, stage around 160-70. Cruise around 200-210, but it stays there so I don't mind.
