ok before troll and ed decide to ruin this thread i have a serious question.
i need to drill out the old rivets correct? i got a new set of rivets but im going to get some bolts in the morning so the intall is easier.
ive read my chilton repair manual but it doesnt say or show anything on door handles.
Quit making yourself invisible!!!!!!!!
Just drill them out and bolt the new ones in. Takes about 10 minutes per side providing you already have the door panels off. They are self explanitory. L means left, drivers side, the side you get in when you drive the car. HAHA

drill rivets out, you will have to take off rod inside of door, then before u bolt new ones in hook the rod back to it. then just put the bolts in then tighen down.... u can use like a 1/2 to 1" long bolt in 7 /16. its easy but dont get mad cause u dont get it the first time, start breakin stuff then put up a post that its for sale. take your time..

Thats your fault. I told you a temp fix that will get you through the winter. Drive the dowel rod in and drive it. When the low oil level light comes on, put a quart in it. Just drive the damn thing. No worries and no problems. Its a fail safe method. I'll take care of it when you can get here. You have something that I want so we can work something out.:goodidea:

I don't know anything about foxes, but I can ruin your thread. :Devious:
You drove through C'ville twice today and you didn't invite me for breakfast or lunch... or a ride to LMM. Just because I don't have a stang RIGHT NOW doesn't mean I don't like to look at all the goodies.
Don't let a few mocking statements get in the way of gearheadedness. :biglaugh:
