whats going on guys. my name is Dick as u can see by my username. im in the avalon bellevue area and work in north hills. ive got a 97 gt coupe 5 spd with some bolt ons. since im the second owner since most of the mods were done, im trying to decifer what was actually done to it.

if anyone is near the area, or likes to get together with other mustang owners please feel free to hit me up, and im always down to chill and work on a car. I am fairly mechanically inclined haha.

nice to be here everyone

ill get some up on here his evening. I just saw in my email it was activated finally so I thought I'd post real quick. I appreciate all the welcomes. just to give u an idea for now, its the deep forest green metallic in color with the tan and black interior. I'm not a big fan of the interior but overall its nice I guess. ill post some up and be sure to point out my push button start : )

thank ya. here are some pics of the girl. shes a bit** for sure. had a ton of problems with her due to the dick who owned her before me. this evening is the first time i think shes back to running right.

a little back story:

she came with fender well cai and he forgot to put the filter back on!!! so i sucked up some water within 5 days of owning the car. been a PITA ever sense. after hours of tinkering and replacing the essentials, ive got her running and idling correctly again. or at least i think i have. the next couple days will tell.

ive got an appointment on thanksgiving to get my new clutch put in, my 3.73 ford racing gears, and a dyno pull/tune with an sct tuner. thats gonna be a good week. ill be in Texas at my hometown when all this is happening. im definitely excited.

if you look there at the interior pics, youll see the push button start i have in it. the power switch is at the bottom of the dash and the little boack button nest to the gauge cluster is the button to start it. the only thing the key does is allow the car to run, cause without the passive theft system will keep it from running. fun to start. i smile every time haha

So you have to put the key in, turn on a power switch, then hit the start button? I think i'll keep my key, but a neat mod none the less ;)
