I need a seat bracket for my cobra so I can get my sparco seat installed. I think 79-98 brackets will work in a 94, I know the 99-up will not. Does anyone know if any other car's brackets will work in a mustang? I'm wondering if a T-bird/cougar bracket is the same since they shared the same platform. If anyone has any information on this please pass it along. I went to a salvage yard today and they had a ton of t-birds, but I lacked the time to get in there and look.

I dont know exactly what youre trying to do a 99+ seat track will bolt into a fox, i had power seat tracks out of an 01 in my fox with my fox seats. altough i had to cut off "bumps" that were on the top of the seat track to bolt up to the flat bottom of my seat

I have a 99-up V6 seat that I had bought years ago and the bracket for it will not work on my seat. The power seat track will not work either as the motor hits the seat bottom.

thats what i mean, how it hits the bottom of the seat. i had to cut the hump off on the seat bracket to make it bolt to the seat. The bolt holes were in the right spots, the newer seat just had an indent on the seat frame for that hump to sit in. it was kind of a pain in the ass, but i noticed the 99+ let my seat move much farther back which was nice for leg room

T-Bird / Cougar will NOT work. It's amazing for the "same" platform how many differences there are to the floor pans. If you do find manual drivers side t-bird parts, there is a market for them ;)
