what are some decent clutches out there that arent going to cost me 500 bucks?

RAM ftw. I have the HDX and its awesome. Holds 550hp and cost $180 from 50resto.com

i put down 350 385 at the wheels with my 347 on a ford racing king cobra
i can get them for less than 250 as well full kit

+1 on Ram clutches, I have one and don't have any complaints after a year and a half

RAM is all that i use.. My buddy has a spec in his trans am and i dont like the feel of it too much

I like my centerforce but then again its on the bench again right now...my fault though..not the clutch's lol

i also like ram. i used it in the 2 past 5.0's i had and will use it in my 4.6 car also for next year!

if you're talking about a LS1, you can't compare the two at all ...... the hydraulic clutch is completely different than what's in a mustang....

OP - I had a spec 3+ and it was spectacuar... but its more than 500... and WAY more clutch than you need....
