I was hired by a guy 2000 miles north of us in Canada to go inspect this sweet 08 Shelby GT 500! Once everything checked out, our customer wired the money and I took the car and title back home completing the 600+ mile round trip:slaphappy: We are installing a truck load of parts on her, way to much to type! It was a long day to say the least but had to take some pics for the customer, just thought I would share:thmbsup:

I was just gonna ask - did that interior come like that, or is that all custom?? Definitely makes it very unique...

Definitely a cool opporuntity to go to Canada and back for a car :goodidea:

I went to North Eastern PA to pick the car up, not Canada. The customer is from Saskatchewan and will be coming to get the car when we are all done installing the mods. It is a very nice car, the more I work on these the more I want one!!!

Got the car finished and tuned yesterday, everything turned out really well! With a shop full of cars and commitments to our other customers, it took many long days over the last month to make everything perfect for Drew to come all the way Saskatchewan Canada to see and drive his car for the first time! Here is a graph from his last pull and some pictures I took from our tuning day yesterday:thmbsup:

That shelby turned out great....I really like that color combo!

The car looks great in pictures but is just darn beautifull in person! I personally wouldn't have went with the whipple but she certainly made respectable numbers and he was speachless when he got back from the test drive:goodidea:

Thanks guys!

That is one sweet car! Amazing he came from SK to have work done. I guess with the dollar being so close to parity right now its a bargain to bring it to the States for work.

I take it you opted to meet in the US due to all the BS with needing passports, or was it because you didn't want to run into a hassle bringing a car you don't own into the US?

He could have had the car shipped to him for $1200 and did the work him self. Problem is, where he is from there are no performance shops let alone a chassis dyno and tuner. He always wanted to experience a dyno tuning session and didn't want to make 2 separate trips to the US. He spent a good bit of money but he got what he paid for:goodidea:

I am experiencing this right now. When it comes time for some serious tuning I might be coming back to the States for it as well :goodidea:
