Whats up all. Just thought Id say hey. I have a 84 GT T-top with a mild 302 GT40P combo. Look forward to talking to yall and making some meets next season. Heres a couple pics.

The first pic is the most recent. Ive made alot of changes since the rest and will be doing alot more this winter including paint and interior.

Welcome from another noob. Always nice to see another 4 eyed car. Not a fan of the decals though..but hey that is what all makes us different right? :thmbsup: I miss the T tops!


What kind of timing and cam you running? the MPH seems a little low to me. I've had a couple GT-40 and GT-40P setups.

TFS stage 1, stud mount 1.6 RRs, that was with a tranny that was having synchro issues It should be in the mid to low 12s next year.

And the decals will be gone when its repainted this winter. They were on it when I bought it in Feb. and I didnt want the paint to look like crap where they were.

where'd ya install the cam and what kind of timing?

that thing should be trapping 108ish...I'm really not trying to insult, just trying to help. The TFS #1 and Gt-40 P's work very well together.

The reason for the slower trap speed was due to the tranny be messed up and not being able to shift hard. The Astro A5 thats going in it should correct that problem along with a few other changes of the winter.

The only car I ran in the last week or so was a 94ish slomaro.
