Hey guys,

I broke the stock intercooler (don't ask). So I need one out of an 03/04 cobra.

Thanks
Jason

You do mean Intercooler, not Heat Exchanger right? If so, I have to ask, what did you do? :D

Intercooler not HE. No antifreeze + 5 degrees F + Cobra intercooler = CRACK

Ouch! Guess you were running straight water. The intercooler's are made by Garrett. You might get lucky and be able to get one directly from them.

I'd pull it out and look at where it's leaking. Last winter we tig weld two of them and fixed both of them. Might save you some money!!

Remember that ALOT of heat from a propane torch is your friend when removing the intercooler bolts. DON"T FORCE them or they WILL break!

The 03/04 Cobra ones mount directly to the bottom of the Eaton. What in the world would you have one of those for?

Sounds like you may have the factory heat exchanger...not intercooler. As Ed said..the intercooler mounts beneath the blower...(lifter valley in pushrod lingo!) The heat exchanger mounts out front by the radiator.
