Driving me nuts...
The car was cutting out while driving home. Found out that the distrib was making noises. Changed that. It ran fine for 5 miles and cut out all together. Wouldn't start. Put a new Ignition Module in it along with a new Ignition Coil. No spark! I have power to both sides of the coil. I caught the car in gear and it fired up. Was thinking it was an Ignition Switch. Replaced that. Still no spark! Somebody suggested that the aftermarket alarm was jacked. So, we disconnected it. Ta-da! It fired up! We put the old Ignition Switch back in it and it still fired up. So, all was good, right?? I test drove the car 60 miles with no problems. Woke up this morning to go to work and it fired up for a second. Then it was the same thing... just cranking. HELP!

There's no spark. There's fuel pressure. Unless the Fuel Pump Relay controls the spark, then I wouldn't think it's that. I don't know. We cut the Alarm out but there are still some wires to the box. We had it running fine with the alarm out. Like I said, I drove it 60 miles. Shut it off and turned it on at least two dozen times. Got up this morning confident it would start. Fired up for a second then shut off. Just cranks.

I went and got a Fuel Pump Relay from Advanced Autos. It doesn't look anything like the one on the side of the overflow.

It must be in the CCRM Constant Control Relay Module

On the passenger fender there is a small gray plug. (It may be inside the fender I can't rember). It is basically a fuse. Try replacing that. You can't get it from any auto parts store. Search the junk yards or maybe the dealer. Pickups and vans have them right by the distributer.

Do you mean the plug that you pull out to do the timing?

I pulled that plug out and tried starting it. Still nothing. Does anyone have a stock computer that I could try?
