Anyone know anyone selling 03/04 cobras

i am thinking about selling my car to get an 03/04 cobra, but i really cant find any within 100 mile radius.. And im not looking for a modded one or something that has 10k miles on it. I was going to post it in the wanted ads, but im not in the market of buying right at this moment i still have to get my car back together so i am going to be in the market in about a month or two.. Just seeing if any dealership selling any around here or am i going to haave to travel.

You may have to travel...I just bought an 03 with 22,000 miles on it. It has no mods which is what I wanted. I found it at a guy that specially deals with 03 and 04 Cobes. It was in Appomadix VA about 400 miles from me. He has/had 3 others to pick from. His web site is Hi-endauto.com Very easy to deal with. He also can deliver.

ViperEd is selling his. It does have some mods. Most of the mods that are done should be done anyway for better reliability. I don't know if he ever had it down the 1/4. Just look at some of the posts busting his chops for never dragracing it. Extremely clean btw, garage kept.:awsome:

yea i was going to check at work tomorrow. The other owners son was going to sell his 04 torch red and i was going to buy it off him, but now he isnt selling it. I really cant afford the extra insurance for a vert and dont want to spend more than 25k. I have been looking most of the day and it is hard to find one that isnt modded or in my price range.. Hopefully my price range will go up in the next month. THanks for all the help guys

Not that I'm trying to sell you mine, but the extra money for a vert really depends on the insurance. When I was with Erie it was double the price of a Coupe, but I switched to State Farm and it is just about the same.

no i can afford the insurance.. i already got quoted with a coupe and i was always told that verts were twice as much and if the insurance was twice as much i def wouldnt be able to afford that.

yea i was shocked at the price of my vert with nationwide...i just switched back to state farm with the fox...and for shiits and gigiles i asked them about my old 98 GT vert...it was a good bit lower than nationwide.

does the 99-01 cobra respond to mods as good as a 03/04.. The most i will do with this next car would be exhaust, gears, and a short throw.. atleast until i get out of school in 16 months.. Then it will be getting modded

Billet Aluminum Underdrive Pulleys, Upgraded Supercharger Pulley, Paul's High Performance Aluminum Cold Air Box with K&N Conical Filter with Pre-Cleaner, Dynomax Ultra Flow 3" Cat-Back Exhaust System, Snake Emblem in Front Grille, Authentic Ford Racing 18" Chrome Cobra R Wheels, and Tinted Windows..
It seems like a hell of a deal to me.. Not too crazy about the cobra rs but i could probably find a trade or sell my car with different wheels. Looks clean to me.. Any thoughts or opinions?

So it's a pullied (with idler replacements like Ed said) cobra with an intake, catback and some appearance mods. Any pics of the engine bay? With those mods and miles I think that price is too high IMO. Any mention as to what tune the car is running?

I think that's a pretty fair price...Just check the vin# and make sure if its an early 03 it doesn't have the "tick" that some of them had. And for heaven sake take that damn front license plate bracket off the front.

Yea a buddy of mine told me that the early 03s had that and yes the front license plate will be the first thing to go IF i get this car.

we have things at work that can be painted to match the car and plug up the holes and it looks like it came from factory like that. My buddy from meegan had to have that done when he got his 04 and you cant even tell that there was anything there.

yea thats why im trying to grab ahold of one now. I called and they knew nothing really about it at all. they basically knew what it was a 03 cobra and it didnt have papers or anything but i am still going to go up and take a look at it when i get my car done.. I am probably goin to take mike up with me since he knows more about these cars than i do
