I got a Garrett turbo out of a E-250 van. Its a Ar 1.00 turbo is like brand new thats why i got it... anyway got cast gt-40p heads cobra intake, 75mm TB, F-cam, some N20, plus no A/c , no p/s, and runnin elec. w/p, so room for it will be no problem.... I know it will be a lil lagy but what you guys think? Any ideas Bob?

Got a specific year / powerstroke size?? Most of the powerstroke turbos are a really bad fit for gas engines, but there are a few that are "interesting" ....

Just as a placeholder... .here is an upgrade to that turbo ....

http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbo_kits/ford_powerstroke.html

and the map of ther upgrade ....

http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarrett/products/turbo_kits/turbo_kit_pdfs/new_pdfs/Powerstroke_Comp_map.pdf

Sometimes with OEM turbo's we you need to work backwards from the upgrades because the OEM maps arent out there.... likely going to need the compressor wheel dimensions to find a map. ALL of the garret stuff is out there, it just gets complcated to find at times....

Placeholder for now.

Rough view, it's going to be in danger of surge a lot.

For sure, but don't let that lead you down a bad path. Inducer, exducer, and frame all matter. It's not clear if the stock turbo is a GT series, or just the upgrade. I think all the GT stuff is BB, don't know of any stocker application using a GT series ...
