WTB:gt40p headers

I'm looking for a pair of shorty headers to fit gt40p heads. Anyone have some for sale? Thanks.

Really? I had always heard that the P heads needed the P specific headers. Don't the spark plug wires hit the primaries,especially on cylinders 1&5? Any more info would be great. Thanks.

Yeah I talked to Ryan (white5.0) he said only miniumal issues using the non specific. I think my BBK equal lengths would have worked too. any new FMS headers are designed to give more clearance on the plugs too, thats what i used.

I beileve you only need specific headers if they are long tubes.

most long tubes will work

equal length shorties are a bitch.you will be denting them up to get plugs out

not sure on unequal shorties but I'm sure you will be denting tubes on them too

PM ryan, he told me the specific issues but it was nothing drastic with the un equal shortys

OK guys. Thanks for the info. Regular unequal length shorties are much cheaper than the P specific ones,so that's good to hear.:thumbsup:
