im down to the last 2 parts on my list before installing the supercharger. im going to order the electric fan for sure, but what is the perk of a aluminum 2 core rad vs a stock 2 core one? i have no problem buying one but if there is not a huge difference why waste the money? any help

You need to look closely at specifications, but the typical 2 core copper / brass radiator (stock fox) is 2 cores about 1/2" wide. The typical 2 core aluminum radiator is actually 2 cores, 1" wide (relates to old school 4 core rads for those of us that remember ;) ). So the perk is twice the surface area.

The aluminum rad in that configuration will be at least as light, or lighter, with better cooling from wider cores plus, better heat transfer with the aluminum.

Yeah, like Bob said. A two row aluminum with 1" rows will cool like crazy. You wil;l never have to worry about overheating again. Afco makes a real nice radiator.

We have plenty, I might mention that these rads are for 5 spd or automatic using an external fluid cooler.

alum rad is a must for a performance vehicle....night and day over a copper/brass unit.
