Hey guys, just trying to get some guidance here cause I'm out of ideas. I put the Ram HD clutch in a while back and I just can't seem to get it adjusted correctly. It's like my clutch pedal doesn't have enough travel to fully engage/disengage the clutch. I've got the steeda QR quadrant and an adjustable cable, but I have to preload the clutch fork just to get it to go into gear and even then the clutch grabs right off the floor. The only thing I can think of is that the cable itself might have some stretch to it or steeda sent me the wrong clutch quadrant. It doesn't look red like some of the other QR quadrants I've seen, but the package did say that it was. Any ideas :dunno:

I had the same problem with my first RAM. It turned out Ram had a batch of bad pressure plates and I got one. Lou sent me a new kit and things have been fine since. My quick release quad is silver.

Wow, that sucks. I REALLY don't want to take the tranny out for a third time. Was this replaced under warranty? Thanks for the info.

I guess Lou sent it back to RAM. The first one was screwed up big time. This one has been perfect. I had the tranny out twice in one month. LOL

Well, Lou hooked me up with a new(hopefully non-defective) Ram HD :highfive: . I'll be putting it in this weekend if all goes as planned.
