question bout installing piston rod bolts

Hey I was putting together my shortblock this weekend. I over tourqed the rod studs and broke two so I am gonna replace both on each rod. I reserched this and half the people said a machine shop has to re bore after install. So my question is have u installed them without machine shop and have no problems or is it a must .thanks

If they are stock bolts, you could be fine.
