Finally...some place local that fellas may want to take this thing outta my yard! J/K.

Anyhoo. I acquired a '87 TB-TC after someone stripped off all of the body panels and interior. My interest was in the disc brake rear for in my '88 TB 5.0L Sport Coupe. I'm not a 2.3L turbo fella and know little about them. I can tell you that the front engine cover is missing but otherwise the long block, manifold and turbo are intact. I kept them covered during the winer. The fella also took the tubes and intercooler.

The car has a 5 speed behind it but I may keep that as I have a 2.3L Ranger that needs a tranny. So if it will work in the Ranger...it stays.

So what would be a fair price to someone that will pull it themselves?? I will help and lift it out with my Kubota.

BTW...mods...I know this is borderline a classified ad but I'm looking for help as to what it is worth.....so if it needs chucked into that forum then I will heed the warning and do so! Thanks.

No where near a bolt in affair into the Ranger. That tranny effectively will put the shifter under the front efge of the front seat as well.

I pay $100.00 for core engines like this uless there is some better history. 80% of them have cracked heads (known or not, just the nature of these) and the missing turbo and such takes it down t oa short block as far as value (to me at least).

The last name sounds familiar.......but the first name does not. But the name Derek Antonio seems like someone my brother may have gone to school with. I worked with a lady from Dayton...Marian Stockdale??...she lived at the end of town on the right side, where the road makes a hard left. Her husband had a cool old roadster coupe.

Sonofabish...actually I reside in Clyde. My addy is Armagh. I know BV well.....smokey's love to set by the township garage!!
