Hey guys...
Just got a PS3 given to us by the in-laws (long story). Here's my problem....

I have a DVI input on my TV but no HDMI. Thus I have an adapter to change over from DVI to an HDMI cable, so I can get video no problem. However, the DVI does not allow audio. I have component inputs for audio, but the PS3 doesn't have any component outputs.
How can I get audio to my TV? I am mostly wanting to use this as a Blue Ray player.
Suggestions?

If you just want it as a blu-ray player then give it to me and I'll buy you a player! :)
The HDMI-to-DVI with audio adapters are quite expensive.($200 range)
The easiest thing would be to buy the proprietary PS2/3 cable if it didn't come with one.
It has the audio and video cables you need, but you'll be stuck with component which is still HD.

LOL
This is the exact reason it is now in my possession...in-laws bought it as a Blue Ray player and they had no idea how to operate it, thus a Blue ray player later and it was mine.
Thanks for the help just bought the component cable.
