If you are into nostalgia drag-racing, you're missing the boat big time if you've never been to east coast versions in Bowling Green in the past,
or the relocated one in Columbus this June 15th thru 17th. Three days of great racing,(nitro too!) and all the other cool car displays, cacklefest's, gigantic car show, in a laid back program for only $50 bucks for the whole week-end.
It's a lot of bang for your buck, and a lot less hassle than a National
Event. The crowds are smaller and parking is free and close. :goodidea:

The 2007 event moves to historic National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio, allowing more room for street rods and customs.
The honorees for the 2007 Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion will be: John Abbott, Don Cain, Ted Harbit, Fred Hurst, Gary Rupp and Pat Dakin. The Justice brothers Reunion Spotlight falls on Frank Hawley. The Grand Marshal will be Jeg Coughlin.
The headquarters hotel, the Columbus Airport Marriott, has sold out for this event, however, other hotels in the area, including the adjacent Courtyard Marriott www.courtyardcolumbusairport.com still have rooms. A complete list of accomodations is available by clicking here. The Reunion features a fabulous array of cool drag cars, street rods and customs of the historic and present-day hot rod eras.
Among the nostalgic drag racing classes showcased on the track are Top Fuel, Junior Fuel, Supercharged Gassers, classic Funny Cars, Fuel Altereds, classic Super Stocks, and a variety of exhibition entries.
