What is the difference between Off topic and On topic forums? Seems like the description under on topic should read "talk about anything auto related in here, just keep it on topic" It seems as though people get confused and post whatever in each forum.

Good question, I always wondered the same.

I think "on topic" means ask anything in life (non-auto related) and keep it serious. NO BS!

"off topic" = no holds barred / enter at your own risk. :biglaugh:

On-Topic

Serious Discussions and debates not related to Automobiles. Forum Rules are strictly enforced. No Post whoring, flaming, thread hijacking or smart ass replies.

LOL! I always wondered this too. IMO it would make better sense if "on topic" would be auto related only since this is a car forum. "Off topic" would be non-auto related... or "on topic" should be mustang related and "off topic" should be used for any non-mustang threads.

See I am glad that I am not the only one. PJ is a Super Mod as well and I can almost guarantee that he will not admit it, but thinks the same thing.

Actually Jeff (Burn Tire) set it up, I think. This can be changed easily enough if Lou wants to do it. :goodidea:

Im not sure what to change, we have general tech for the auto stuff, maybe just reword the titles? On topic if for serious discussions on anything IE "Concealed carry thread" Off topic is for basic bs with no real guidelines. What would be best to change?

Lou,

IMO, we only need the auto related sections that we already have and the off-topic section. On topic just confuses people. We could just merge them both and call it "The Lounge" or something like that.
