hay guys im new to the site but not the forums i have a 1998 cobra witch is getting a 5.4 swap here in 2 months it will be in the world of wheels car show. Im also a soon to be member for the NMRA for the up coming yeah hope to see some of you guys there i dont do the flashlight drags cant stand them. um thats really all ill be doing a indepth wright up to the 4.6 to 5.4 swap so it will be up after im done. other then that im here to make some friends and have a good time

i quite the flash light drags when is was in highschool real men race the 1/4 mile lol i just hate the flashlights its good for highschool kids that cant aford to go to PRP. nothing agains any one here

The FLD's are a blast for "heads up" "street racing"....

There are a lot more then highschool kids there.

PRP is racing just to get a number, unless you do the weekend bracket racing. And heads up racing IMO is way more fun than bracket racing. And the cost of PRP and FLD's are the same.

...personally I luv the FLD's n its absolutely a BLAST of fun too! They're what actually got me back into Drag Racing in the late 2000 era. It's so grass roots style too and we should be truly blessed that a group of people would set something like it up, for sure! Who know's how long our government's gonna let RACING in general happen even at actual dragstrips not alone rented airports! I mean without hard restrictions and the fun bein takin out of it, you know what I mean??
It just cracks me up how people bash'em and most don't have the slightest clue about racin period! But alllll of course they have their show car garage queens, built engines/rides, sayin how fast they are all the time and can beat on everyone. But its funny I don't seem to see them racing or running their cars anywhere!! And this is including numerous people/friends I know and have met.
I think most are just scared to be made a fool in front of hundreds of people against something that might or might not be able to beat u.
Example: 2-Termi's both piloted by grown adults back in 07' that came out to race with me at Zeli told me how they were gonna come out and beat everyone and then continued to get spanked over and over and over again! Then by the end of the night they were racin each other, hoow cuuute!
Those are the guyz that are like I don't get time slips, ohh it only 1/8th mile, all the while its excuse after excuse why they suckt and couldn't drive their cars!!:rolleyes:

im not saying people in general im saying kids that live close to the air ports there close and easy to get to prp is a good hour from anything and more expensive. i should of worded that right. and i just love causing trouble i really just dont care for the fld's im not a fan of 1/8 mile racing and as for what class ill be runnin in the NMRA there are only two classes i can run in i think im not sure yet depends on whats done to the car by the end of winter.
