85 Coupe Build Thread

I recently picked this cool little coupe up from Bill (How Much), it is really solid except the doors, in in the process of re doing the whole interior right not, getting it ready for paint next.

Pretty much all the interior is removed, trim cleaned and repainted, new vinyl wraped Dashes Direct dash pad dyed Regatta blue, im working on installing the new custom upholstery from TMI, it is the 83-89 tall back seats with the new SVO foam. I had them do it in Regatta blue with custom blue tweed in the center.

That's gonna look sharp!!! So the exterior is going to stay blue? What are the plans for the whole thing - drivetrain - chassis - rims/tires ?

Im thinking Kona Blue Metalic for exterior color. It is already has SN 95 brakes, 5.0 5 spd with exhaust so not much changes there other than detailing. Nice driver that will be for sale in the spring.:goodidea:

There is a 4 eye vert for sale in my neighborhood. It looks pretty clean. I think its a 4cyl though. Tell bill to swing threw Malden one day. It sits on the right as you come off rt40. They are asking $1200 obo.

They are not bad at all, the back rest in the photo above is a little twisted and was already welded a few times so I just picked up a nice straight one off of Silvernotch. We sell them at the shop, if your interested come up and check them out.:goodidea:
