My bf has a 2003 sonic blue svt cobra, 1968 Fairlane gt, sold his 1990 foxbody about 2 months ago, and has a 2004 svt focus he uses as an everyday driver. I have no idea what i want cuz there are so many i like. i love the 1990 fox bodies and 2003 azure blue mach1, and 1970 style too, im trying not to copy my bf so we have a variety to take to car shows some day lol.

Its not necessarily the Dyno number Im chasing. Im upgrading everything to handle the power better and I mean just about everything. I work every Saturday of my life so getting to the track, or even the shows is hard for me to do unless its on a Sunday. Ill have to see how it turns out. Once we get the lowering springs in it will look a little better!

Before she looks at any Mustang shes learning how to drive a 5 speed. I would teach her in my SVT Focus but its my DD and cant afford to have no clutch in it. at some point it has had the front fenders & Bumpers replaced. Everything lines up and the paint matches, but the paint on the fender bolts is chipped off.

Thats the problem nowadayz u can do what u do to them n let'em rot OR take them out and drive'em, go to shows, runn'em and race the heck outta'em more than once er twice a year!!

I will not have a 2003 Cobra be an Automatic, yea yea I know what your going to say " A manual will never hold up to that kind of power, your young and stupid" blah blah. If the Magnum breaks then ill deal with it. Out of the 17 cars that Iv had, not 1 was an auto. Im NOT ganging up on the auto guys in here! Its just my preference.... and did anyone see here where I asked for sympathy? please show me... Why do people care what I do with My car anyways? People are on here because we share the same passion for cars and most everyone on SCS are great guys and girls. ... with whats going on with the car right now? No I am not doing any of the work on it. Sorry, I dont have an in house dyno or any tuning experience. Thats why there is performance shops. They do it well and rely on it for a living. Iv met all of the shops owners on here and they all are a great group of guys. Mike from Wolfpack, Terry from Street Lethal, and so on... Do I work on my own cars? Absolutely but Im not touching a build that needs more knowledge and time than what I am capable of doing.

Im not going to go though this. Im quite happy to be apart of the local shops. Mike and Terry are both great guys. They bend over backwards to make sure that you as a customer are happy. Modulars are a little more complex than that of a SBF or BBF. Not only that, but when you add an SC or Turbos into the picture not very many people can tune around here.

To the OP, welcome to the site. As you can see, there is a diverse group of people on here, some like drivers, some like show & some like racing. I'm going to suggest for you to start with whatever you feel most comfortable in. My wife had a 03 GT & it was a nice car, & it was a 5 speed. I told her that if she wanted a Mustang, it had to be a 5 speed & that she had to be willing to learn. Good luck with whatever you do end up buying though. Some people here on this site like to be asshats & whore up threads, don't pay attention to some of them.
