That's bad ass... I know not everyone has the driver mod but I have yet to see (in person) one of these 5.0's run a 12.xx pass, must have been 4-5 of them at PRP while I was there late this summer.

That GT is a rapid spec 300a with 3.73's.

I got some 3.73s this winter and a bama X3 tune to hold me over until i get a dyno tune....I cant wait to get it out this spring, I imagine its going to be a hell of a difference
im still deciding whether i want to stay N/A or some sort of forced induction.......

They come in "around" 3,600 lbs. + driver.

man that is light compared to what else is out there today for new cars, and still with only 5.0 liters ,how does ford do it ?

Here is a stock long-block example running deep into the 11's N/A with these mods:
1. cold air intake
2. tune
3. headers
4. midpipe
5. after-cat
6. clutch upgrade
7. one-piece driveshaft
8. suspension upgrades
9. deeper gears
10. slicks
11. weight reduction

i think i might have just a few more mods than that on my 95, to get 11.3's out of it
