We are tuning before it goes to WOW car show this weekend. Just a break in tune till the fully built motor gets some miles on it. Made great power for an under boosted large displacement blower! This car is going to make some serious power when we increase the boost and tune it on the sauce:yes:

I think this car was for sale over the summer - for around $55k ( don't quote me on that - my memory isn't as good as it used to be ). Gorgeous car. Lots of mods and tons of powdercoating underneath? Last I heard he was planning to replace it with a SuperSnake??

Ya Ron, it was/is For Sale. It is a nice car but as someone stated above he has a lot of $$ in it. He does want or bought a GT 500. I think the guy works for Eaton.

Based on that Frisby sized pulley (what is that, 3.8-4"?), I'm guessing it's only making 5-6 PSI right now. Once they up the boost, numbers should increase accordingly.
I'm with the others in wondering how you can spend $45K on a 3V engine though.

The car was built by Auto Illusions. This is the first time that I have worked with them, so I don't know much about them or what they do. From what I can tell though, they did a very nice job on the car!
There is however a mechanical issue and is no doubt why the car did not make more power. The car also has a KB Mammoth with a 4" pulley that is dragging the motor down! Average boost throughout the entire pull was only 8-9 lbs, not nearly enough for a KB 2.8 Mammoth!
Once the mechanical issues are fixed and the car is pullied accordingly, definitely capable of 700+ RWHP....

They want the car to make somewhere in the range you suggested. It would be easy with race gas but they want to stay pump. We are going to put on a 3" pulley and do a Torco tune when it comes back, that should put it around the 700 mark. I wont spray it unless it is on race gas, we will see what they want to do about that when the time comes...

I actually Spent $68K on Upgrades which include - Custom made fluid tanks, New Shelby Cobra 2011 6 Speed Trans, 800 Hp 1 piece Roush Drag Pak Driveshaft, Mcleod 2 disck clutch , West Coast Damper, Thumper Belt Tensioner, Reworked Wiring Harness, NOS with Window switch, and so many other options i would have to take a day to write them out. No deep pockets just a lust for speed and good 401k balance. Tired of Driving SUV's and wanted something to spice up old age.
Car has Livernois 1000Hp 5.0L stroker motor and Kenne Bell 2.8 Liter Blower with Long Tube headers -- jet hot coated. 3" exhaust with Flowmaster axel backs. Ford Racing Hot Rod Cams.
Ride Tech Tiger Cage and enough Sterio to scare the Kids next door

The Car (Roush) is Pretty amazing as long as teh streets are dry. Auto Illusions ( Rich Marstof) Is a fantastic Guy and great car builder -- you just have to wait forever as they cannot find good help to do the everyday work like brakes and car starters . It seems crazy to wait when spending this kind of cash but that appears to be their system. If their work was not such high quality i would have given up a year ago... and the fact that they are good people.
I have also entrusted a brand new 2011 SHelby cobra to them which i am hoping to have by the end of March. same 1000Hp build. This one will have the 3.6L Kenne Bell Mamouth blower.
Looking foward to attending one of the groups events this year. Dave

Hey Dave - welcome to SCS. My buddy Jason ( '65 GT350 and other really nice Mustangs ) told me about your car last year and when I saw it at the Moon Park show I could see how right he was when he said your car is amazing.
My neighbor, Steve Henderson, also works at Eaton in the Cherrington complex. Any chance you know him? He drives a red Mini Cooper S. We live less than a mile from there. I grew up golfing at the old Montour Heights Country Club where your offices were built. I think your building sits where holes 4, 5, 6, and 7 used to be. :D

Dave,
Jon doesn't come to the shop anymore, we do everything remotely as there is no tuning difference between the two. That's not to say that he won't be out again but he is not scheduled at this time and hasn't been out for at least a year. Mike, I have about 400 miles on my 07 . Would like to bring it in for final tune. I have the small pully that Rich or you can install. We plan to change the break-in oil for some Royal Purple . Rich mentioned that John Lund was coming out to tune your car . Is there any way we could do the two mustangs at the same time . Rich is supposed to have the Shelby done in the next week or so . Because there are so many mods to the 07 it would be better if John was here to drive the car and see how it acts . The car is running so rich that it gets about 5 miles to the gallon and still idles very high on start-up. AFter a minute or so it goes to 850 rpms. It is show time so i want the car running correct . I also plan to run it with the new bogart wheels and drag radials. Thanks for your help with this . This week is the last week i will be in town for over a month. Thanks , Dave 412-901-9720

From what my friends who go to this cruise very often say, you can reserve a few spots in the TOP LOT until 6pm. They like to to park along the main aisle - that way you can stay late and watch all the cars leave the lot driving right in front of you. To get a bunch of adjacent spots, you probably have to arrive around 4:00 or 4:30 at the latest.
