I think they sticker right under 30k and that car is a base with 0 options.......so i think thats probably about the right kind of money for it. I dont look for this GT to depreciate as much as other years have. Not that I care i plan on keeping mine, its the first brand new car Ive ever bought.

I bought my '04 Cobra new under A-plan in Sept. '04, only month when Mustang rebates were able to be used on Cobras, people didn't believe what I paid...$25,9xx couldn't pass it up. Drove it for almost 2 years and even with mods only was down under $1000 of what I had in it :goodidea:

Yep, if you have access to the plans, check it both ways before buying ... we bought my wifes Focus under X plan as it was the better deal at that time with what all was being offered ('08). I dont think the Chrysler plan is that good, and never looked at GM's in any detail as it would involve buying a GM ;)

Yep, FRPP is supposed to have a nice swap harness/computer for that.
Also, I think it was 'Hollywood Hot Rods' or some shop fit old school 427 SOHC valve covers on a Coyote, looks badass especially in the older cars.

I think I read somewhere that the Boss intake makes more power at the top of the powerband, but actually loses some power down low. That may not be true though - I haven't seen any before/after dyno or track numbers yet. Bossman - have you seen anyone posting numbers out there?

In the photos I've seen, the Lava Red looks almost burgundy in some light - almost black in shadows/little light. Really neat. I agree that it'll be a lot like keeping Kona Blue clean - difficult!! I saw a Kona 5.0 at Moon Ford last night and it was FILTHY - I couldn't believe just how dirty it was. It made me really think that maybe I might want to go with Sterling Gray Metallic or Ingot Silver Metallic when I finally pull the trigger...unless they come out with some sort of bronze/copper color...I could wait another year for that..

I saw a Kona 5.0 at Moon Ford last night and it was FILTHY - I couldn't believe just how dirty it was. It made me really think that maybe I might want to go with Sterling Gray Metallic or Ingot Silver Metallic when I finally pull the trigger...unless they come out with some sort of bronze/copper color...I could wait another year for that..how about that yellow blaze it's pretty nice.My car uaually gets cleaned 2 to 3 times a week so i keep my cars really clean and i detail cars on the side too.

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE the Kona Blue - and when it is clean it is unbelievably gorgeous - and it is by far my favorite color - but it looks like it might actually be tougher to keep clean than a black car.

The Yellow Blaze is really pretty too - I'm just thinking that it is a little too much of a "look at me" color for me, being 43 years young.

Who knows...by the time I pull the trigger I might change my mind 4 more times...:D

The Kona blue isnt that bad to keep nice if you stay on top of it but if get caught in the rain it looks real bad real fast. This isn't my DD so it stays pretty nice. I just looked at the lava red on line and that is a real nice color also.

In the photos I've seen, the Lava Red looks almost burgundy in some light - almost black in shadows/little light. Really neat. I agree that it'll be a lot like keeping Kona Blue clean - difficult!! Ron, you might be hard pressed to find Silver, I think that color was dropped for 2012, for the Lava Red, or it may have been the Gray.

I stopped by Moon Twp Ford on Sunday and they had a Kona 5.0 6M - wow that color pops in the sunlight!!

They also had a nice V6 convertible in Lava Red Metallic. Really pretty in person. I wouldn't want it on a hardtop so much, but on the ragtop it really looked nice. It was hard to see inside ( sun was starting to set ), but it looked like the seats were the standard black leather with Lava Red inserts. Really sharp!!

I wish I could hit the lottery and pull the trigger right now...
