AHHHH...... Give the kid a break. Most of you would kill to be able to try and build what he was going for. He has the means, just not the experience and got a little in over his head with the build. All the parts he has are top shelf. It was getting too expensive and now he is getting out.

Yes, I would kill to have parents that paid for my entire build and then didn't care when I decided to say f it once I hacked up my car. I guess they are still paying for the Raptor though since I saw that tool reving it up hardcore in a parking lot last week.

With that being said... and money did not seem to be the issue? Why would he not take it to Street lethal, Wolfpack or any other repeatable shop to be done properly. I am the first to admit that my build is way over my head and that is exactly why is it where it is. I wont be done for a while due to not having all of the money at one time, but when it is done, it will be done properly.

Short and sweet.... 19 year old kid buys GT500 and immediately starts throwing TONS of money at it trying to be the baddest, fastest street car on this side of the Milky Way... then lets his "friends" work on it and screw everything up... Then buys a brand new Raptor and wants to put a turbo on it... then decides to sell GT500 to get a Z06

You forgot the most important part .... he used a sawzall on the firewall to "make room" for the HUGE unnecessary 4.0 Whipple!

That car didn't even make close to 800RWHP .....

Mom and Pop Racing. No way in hell does he afford $150,000 in toys by being a 21 year old kid that build's PCs on the side. If that was the case I wouldn't be driving a Mustang I can tell you that.

O yea, I love how the "ZOMG Turbo Raptor" thread is 7 useless pages of posts and not one ****ing picture.

sure must be nice to be him...what a douche. its funny how people that are given nice things end up ruining them because they truly don't appreciate it. And the people that actually bust their asses to get their stuff are the ones keeping it the nicest.


I would never buy my kids anything that nice, even if i could afford to buy 3 of them. His parents are just as big of douche bags for providing that stuff to him because now he's just a careless spoiled brat



sorry but i just cannot stand wealthy people that act like that..ESPECIALLY when it comes to cars because the rich ones are always the ones who don't know jack shit about cars and end up totaling veyrons because they can't drive and don't understand vehicles

LOL funny you mention that place. back in the day there was someone I knew who just read posts on there and hung out. A little while later he pretended to have a vette I think it was and was giving performance advice. people treated him like a guru and he never even owned the car :twothumbsup:
