gaskets on intercooler?

on intercooler piping theres no gaskets inbetween the piping is there? i figure no but it looks like the tbolt clamps either sucked and there was blow by or there should be, im talking where to pipes will meet together

thought so till someone said there was and was hell bent there was so i thought id ask the pros. thanks bud
