F250 4x4 rear leaf springs & F250 2x4 front coils

Broken parts have me thinking about upgrading my 1994 F150 5.0 auto 4x4.

The passenger rear leaf spring has broken. When this happens, it seems like many people decide to upgrade to 4x4 F250 rear leaf springs and 2x4 F250 front coil springs.

Let me know what you have.

Might also consider F150 parts and pass on the F250 "upgrade" depending on what you folks find lying around.

Try some local junkyards for the F250 stuff....

New stuff really isn't all that expensive...check out suspensionking.com - they're semi-local.

Or Island leaf and spring on Neville Island or Uniontown leaf and spring.

I ended up replacing the broken leaf and the same leaf on the other side, and adding a leaf to each side. Worked great - truck sits about 1" higher in the rear now and rides great.
