Hey guys-
I recently did a 95 cobra brake swap on my 93 cobra. The one rear caliper is squeaking like a mofo. It's actually louder than the vortech if you can believe that. Hit the brakes and the noise goes away....release the brakes and the noise is back.
This evening I put the car on stands, started the car up, put the car in 4th and listened for the noise....nothing. Took the car around the block and the noise is still there. Ugh.
I have the anti-moan brackets installed, all the parts are brand spanking new, and the car feels fairly good besides the noise.
Ideas?

There is a guy over on stangnet.com that goes by the username Mustang5L5 with a lot of knowledge on rear disc swaps. When I was doing my rear NRC disc conversion he was a ton of help. Maybe pm him and see if he has ever experienced anything.

I'm a dumbass guys...
I swapped out pads lastnight, thinking that the "cheaper" ones I bought were the problem. Got the car back together and still had the same noise. Pulled the car back in the garage, jacked the rear up on the suspension, put the car in gear and the noise was there!!!
Driveshaft was rubbing on some bracket....hence the metal on metal noise that I was hearing. Ugh.

I hear ya there. With my car, the problem usually is the loose nut behind the steering wheel as well...
