Started tearin into an 84 coupe and will need new front frame rails from back of strut tower forward on both sides. Any suggestions where to get this fixed? Also, would a shop be able to fab up their own or will I need to cut good ones off from a donor?

Ahh man. I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe you should junk it and find another coupe

Rusted...I don't wanna get a new one it is super solid everywhere else and I know it's do-able. Junkin it is not an option

If this guy can turn this junker into the cleanest fox I've ever seen then mine can be fixed

Any QUALITY body shop that does frame/rust repair should be more than capable of doing it.

And also a lot of times they will cut good ones off of a car they find or will work with what you get them. I'm sure they prefer finding their own since they can get what they think they will need. Not relying on you to assume what they will use.

Russell's Auto Body in Charleroi can do it....but break out your pocket book.

How many places have you called and was anyone willing to give ball park estimate over the phone?

Sanners auto body in new stanton. 724-755-1020. They do a lot of that kind of work. They just finished a supra they put front frame rails on. Looks factory. It is rather labor intensive so its not gonna be cheap anywhere, but just like anything else, you get what you pay for.

thanks everyone. i'll have to call around to some places and get some quotes. I did some of the work so maybe it won't be THAT bad. engine is removed, engine bay is degreased and cleaned, all wiring/brake booster/master cylinder/etc taken out, front bumper cover and fenders also removed

other than the frame rails its a really solid car. It was completely undercoated in the past (thats what the black is in the engine bay) so i think that saved its life otherwise it would be dust right now because of how long it sat outside

I want to get the frame rails fixed then remove everything else and have the whole thing media blasted
