Control arms

I've been debating on control arms, there are a set of upper and lower round tubular ones from summit, and square tubing ones from MAC, which ones would be stronger? or lighter? there bothe the same price at 219

What do you want them for, street or drag? What type of bushings are in them?

i was in this position last summer. like paul said, theres a lot of questions to decide what you wanna do. the best i found was to ask maximum motorsports. they told me what to go with for what i was looking for.
i went with a solid lower with a spherical on the frame end and the fms uppers so i will have the new bushing.

they have polyurethane bushings, and its for street.

from what i learned, someone correct me if im wrong, if the lowers are poly or rubber and you put any kind of power to them they will eventually wear and fail. your stock arms have rubber in them and thats the problem with them. from what mm told me, you want the bottoms basically solid with a solid one side or spherical and a spherical frame side, mine are also adjustable, which i just set to the stock size. if your gonna use the car for street and strip you can use a stiffer poly bushing in the upper. if your looking for a drag car you want solid adjustable uppers.:awsome:

those are both good for the street but for serious drag use, they will give out sooner or later...

thats okay i might only take my car to the strip once or twice this year
