Clearly ... easy to launch off idle that way too ...

No pictures, but here is Troy launching it off idle a few years ago ...

Was the pressure plate broke?

just got in from garage, it had to be the pressure plate ,the disc looks fine...? the throw out bearing was running out of true too ?

is the stock clutch a luk? and you can hear that i was clearly above idle on that pass lol

Well, most everything is build on a Luk core or parts, so finding it on anything is likely. There are only like two companies that make the basic parts for clutches, everone assmebles as they see fit with those parts (and Luk) is by far the biggest) ... I see a lot of times, someone will but a performance clutch from someone then complain it's only a Luk rebranded ;)

The pressure plate I took out is alot shorter than the spec going in?
Martin0660

The spec is deffinately a higher stack ...
That all goes back to my problems with adjustment earlier this year when I changed ... None the less, I've run the spec with the stock bell set-up without issue.

found problem with clutch , it was the pressure plate the rivets pulled out of the straps

it took a while today, they gave me the wrong throw out bearing , and i took the weight off the driveshaft ,if i would have had some rtv it would have some miles on it already

welll here is a question
i just finished up my clutch install and took it for my frist drive and its slipping pretty bad, should i have to reset the clutch quadrant? " still stock" i had to pry a good bit to get pin in for the cable, like it was preloaded, so i think its not letting the clutch fully engage any help would be great

LIFT up on the clutch pedal to release the pawl, and it should go slack, push the pedal in and it should ratchet to adjust back up.
If it doesent release when lifted, the pawl or something is messed up.

Your asking the guy that blew up two 8.8's in one season with a 4 banger??? LOL
I thought by the description above you fragged it ... is it just one wheeling? If so DO NOT do anything agressive on it. In reality, thet's why I was blowing up 8.8's, the clutches would slip, put all the power into the other spider gear, then explode it. I can not see anything good coming of that with a 7.5 ;)
