So loaded a new tune in today and took it out for some data logging.

Car drives perfectly, then it decides to shut off during WOT.

Limp it to the side of the road, and it will not turn over. SCT cannot connect to the pcm, cannot pull DTC's etc.

Gauges turn red, states check charging system and service advancetrac.

Pop hood, no leaks, no burning smells, nothing. Look at rear end same thing.

Disconnected battery, reconnected it, it is still doing it.

Turn key to on position you can hear fuel pump kick on and starter trying to work.

Think perhaps I can load a tune back into the car to reset things, SCT gives error 1027, wrong car blah blah, but that makes sense since it cannot communicate with the pcm.

I am guessing you have a fried ecm. It is a known issue with the 2011 up cars and loading aftermarket tunes.

it didnt fry loading the tune, it blanked out while driving.

I fixed it though, it was a popped fuse.

Found out what caused it to pop. Its probably gonna do it again.

I'm about almost certain I figured out what did it.

Care to share in case another person runs into the same problem?

Care to share in case another person runs into the same problem?

Fairly certain the bottle heater popped the fuse since I was drawing power from a particular key on fuse that was most likely in line with the pcm communications.
