Guess I should probably change my sig at some point. Probably start taking the front end off tomorrow. Ford had their head buried in their asses when they decided to make a Swiss cheese engine bay. Since the paint is real nice on this car, all I need to do is the engine bay. Then install a nice stout mill....

Yeah, tell me about it!! Part of the deal was him seein a nice engine bay. After Rick chopped the shit out of it especially. Gonna be a nice simple set up.

I dunno, I always put my junk in the garage backwards to it can be pushed out forward if it's dead / needs trailered, and I can open the garage door or push it all the way back to the wall for more room to work under the hood ....

Just saying ;) ... that and I had to bust your balls on something since you didnt go with the vent visor option.

Need to remove the rest of the driver side sway bar mount and the passenger side mount. Remove what's left of the aprons. Then the rest of the obvious stuff also. Probably do a similar plumbing job on the brakes as i did on my other car.

Its from around here. Its a 70k mile car that has had every combo known to man kind in it. Been fast at one time. Many different turbo combos on it, blower combos. You name it. Im gonna finally do what should have been.done long ago. Make it nice and final. The cage is old but still good.

Might as well say it now. The engine is going to be a low budget 351 base with a carb. Haven't made a final choice on trans yet.

Thanks for the welcomes gentile men...not much of an update. Just waiting on my order now from scotrod. All I have done at the moment is the towers cleaned up and ready for welding. Sway bar mounts removed.

Now that the panels arrived I am able to move forward with this..completely removed the factory aprons. Fit the new scottrod panels on. Extreme minimal trimming on the driver side. Passenger side fit right in. I got the firewall HVAC cover, the pieces behind the tower and the frame rail panels.

As for the k member, it really depends on a bunch of things. I highly doubt I will be doing the team Z kit like I did with my red car anytime soon. Probably wait a year or so before anything like that takes place.

I ran some more lights in the garage to make it brighter. Spent most of the day fooling with this clunker. Got all the panels trimmed up and fit in place. All welded. Made a bunch of plugs for the larger holes that were everywhere. In the end...I ran out of gas for the welder and figured what better time than now to crack open a new bottle of grand marnier.

I did. Got the Bennett 408. Bought prostars. Sold the Tremec I had in favor of a C4. I also have a bunch of performance stuff for sale too. Huge Cam, solid roller lifters. Manley springs with titanium keepers. A bunch of other stuff too. Keeping the 2" primary long tubes and 3" exhaust...I need that stuff.
