Yes - I'm pretty sure all the 7-up cars came with white tops. Maybe this one was re-done at some point?

the top is white, but i sprayed it with a vinyl dye. I was going to replace the top with a black one, but before i did so i dyed it to see if i liked it better than white.

I hear ya on the dye job - those white tops can be really tough to keep clean. White looks better, but in the real world, black holds up much better. Good luck with the sale - sharp car you have there.
